The first 24 years of my life was spent exploring the great state of Alaska. Being raised in the small community of Healy, just outside Denali National Park, provided some of the most memorable childhood experiences one can imagine. Although my passion and love for this great state remains, I have never regretted my decision to relocate to Colorado in 2003. After graduating college with my degree in Business from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, I selected Northern Colorado as my new home. I am so grateful to live and work in such a thriving and vibrant community. In 2017, my amazingly talented wife Amy and I welcomed our son Maddox Bruin Laner into our world. As most parents will say, he has totally changed our hearts and our lives. We could not be more grateful for him. We spend our free time enjoying outdoor activities: hiking, fishing, camping, snow-shoeing, and traveling to Alaska to share my home state with family and friends.
