I was born in 1963 in Owatonna, Minnesota, a town about 45 minutes west of Rochester. My family moved to Rochester in 1967 and I have been a resident ever since. I graduated from John Marshall High School in 1982 and went to Rochester Community College for a few years working toward a mechanical engineering degree.
