After numerous years working in sales and for other real estate companies, Sutton Slawter, opened Signature Real Estate in 2007. Sutton and his wife, Dana, who was a mortgage lender at the time, had purchased a few rental properties along wtih a business partner and decided to manage them on their own. From buying those first homes and managing all of the details from marketing, repairs, accounting and more, they saw a need for a company that offers clients ALL real estate services under one roof: services for buyers, sellers, renters, HOAs & investors. A company that could rent your home if needed (which was a reality in 2007) and then assist you with selling it in the future (as the market improved). From that seed, the company has grown into a “one stop shop” real estate service provider.
