Looking to develop an innovative and effective marketing tool to differentiate their new vacation rental home, owners Bob and Suzi Cusack founded the company in 2003 under the name Mouse On House. Since then, TruPlace, as we’re known today, has produced over 70,000 tours and processed more than 10 million professional photographs. “After spending so many frustrating hours online trying to find the right vacation home that would provide everyone in our group with the best possible living arrangements, we ended up renting the home that had the most photos, but weren’t really sure it would work for us. Later, after buying our own rental home, we wanted to provide online viewers a better experience and eliminate the pain we had felt. We came up with the idea of an interactive floor plan and showed it to our property manager, who said we really had something unique. That gave birth to what is today TruPlace.”
